Here's the new Em song with Dre. The beat is excellent, but Em is still using that annoying ass new voice of his which really sucks because his lyrics are finally on point. Ughhh!

GREAT list.

i was recently introduced to every single one of these artists (pandora?)

j-live is on another planet. easily top 5 lyrics/message dude on the planet. k-os is silly with his range outside of mc'ing too...

imo, one be lo > senim silla. but binary star > all. apparently there's a non-zero chance of a new album from em together...

New Em kinda sucks IMO. He uses his new accent/voice on basically every single track, which really sucks because the lyrics are actually pretty sick. I'm disappointed. In the past my favorite Eminem songs were the more serious ones, the Stans and Cleaning out my Closets instead of the Without Me type stuff. There's none of the former on this album.

LBJ,

Seriously? None of the former? We listen to the same album?

This is def some of his best stuff in a while. Sure there's some stupid throwaway **** like Crack a Bottle / We Made You, but some of this is really good. Also, I really wish Em had resisted the urge to produce "Beautiful". He's a really sub-par producer. The lyrics / stories on this album are fantastic though. He could've done better, but this is better than I was expecting. I give it a B.

Yeah LBJ, sounds like you just kinda skimmed the album.

It's much better than I and pretty much everyone expected. B is a pretty good grade. I might even go A-

Stay Wide Awake is the best Em track in a long time.

Adam and sic -- I did only listen thru once. And I wasn't referring to the content as much as I was the voice. He uses the same exact voice in every one of his songs. On past albums, he has done the odd/violent/on edge voice that we see constantly on Relapse but only for about half the albums. On past albums, the other half of the songs were serious songs about real life where he raps in the classic Eminem voice. None of that on Relapse, is what I was hinting at. Not saying there isn't good music on the album, as I definitely need more listen thrus, but the whole album seems very repetitive.
