When I was a kid my grandmother used to put two big spoonfuls of sugar in my orange juice, so it became a habit. Once I did this in a restaurant with friends and they all thought I was nuts. I don't do it anymore, but I recall the best part was drinking the undissolved sugar grains at the end.
This is fairly standard with fresh orange juice I think. Generally it gets served (here) with sugar next to the glass when ordered from a café.
thats pretty standard..probably not for american society but i had a friend in grade school that came over form italy and thats what he ate for lunch everyday, and than thats all I started eating for lunch in grade school
I bought some cheap spring rolls the other day that came with some hoisin sauce in a plastic container. I didn't use it so I'm planning to make a hoisin sauce omelette one of the days.
First off I’m Canadian , so some of these things are standard…. ketchup can be used here on 90% of foods.
Things you can put ketchup on: I always thought that hot-dogs and ketchup where made for each other. Everyone I know, and their sister eats hotdogs with ketchup. The more adventurous people have some bacon and cheese on top including ketchup. Ketchup on mac and cheese, on toast , on eggs , on chips, on potatos, on corn , grill cheese…..
Ranch dressing on cheezees (cheese chips.)
Mayo in potatoes
Corn syrup on bacon
Jam on bacon sandwich
Peanut butter + jam + forest ham on toast
Steak with chocolate sauce or fudge sauce.
