When I put my hands in my jacket pocket as I walk to work and realized that there is a one dollar bill in it, which means I now have $3, which is enough to pay for the busfare and so I don't have to walk 3 miles to work.

When I check my poker account and found that I have $2.20 which is enough for me to start my comeback at the micro-stakes sit n go.

Thanks man. And yes that's one of my favorite feelings too.

I hate this because it means I have to park somewhere else. Illegal to park at broken meter, imo.

Haha, this one is too awesome. I think I've only experienced this one a few times in my life.

When in the heat of debating with my co-worker and I can feel myself about to get angry and thinking this person needs to STFU, I find that little thought in my head that says "life's good, enjoy it" and it calms me.

When I get to work out my finger on my mouse's scroll wheel because somebody made 25 one-liner posts that could have been combined into one.

Oh wait no, that sucks.

When you finally figure out something you did not understand in a movie or TV show that you saw years ago.

Sometimes these revelations just hit you like a lightning bolt out of nowhere. Other times you see another work and realize "oh THAT'S what they were parodying on Sesame Street..."

When I go to the convenience store and I'm in and out in 1 minute and not stuck behind someone writing a check for a $2 pop.

I too have enjoyed CheckCheckFold's posts and do not understand all the hate.

My contributions:

When I'm really dreading some appointment or meeting, and trying to figure out some way to weasel out of it, and then at the last minute it gets canceled.

When I have to call up customer service and I actually get a hold of someone right away who is incredibly helpful. Similarly, anytime I have to deal with some mid-level government bureaucrat and the person turns out to be completely competent.

When I'm eating my morning oatmeal with blueberries and I get the proportions perfect so that I can have exactly one blueberry with each spoonful of oatmeal.

When I'm watching Jeopardy! with a group of people and no one knows the answer to Final Jeopardy but I take a guess and get it right. Same applies to bar trivia and many other types of games.

When I go running and see another runner heading in the opposite direction and we nod to each other knowingly.

When I'm playing Scrabble and I get a bingo on the very first turn. Or, when I pull out new tiles from the bag and place them on my rack and the bingo is instantly obvious.
