This episode reran tonight and I caught it for the first time. I had to quit my session because of how angry it made me.

To elaborate on the OP, here's my recollection of the important part of the sketch:

We are introduced to the poker player first. He says something along the lines of "Well, I'm not making much money at it yet, but I'm playing internet poker and I hope to win [back (? not sure if this word was in there)] enough to build a bankroll and move to Vegas". There's a cut to the studio audience roaring in laughter after the words "internet poker". That is the entirety of the introduction/interview of the first "potential husband". He is a normal-looking twentysomething guy and nothing about his appearance or the way he explains himself (except for possibly the word "back" -- but the audience is laughing before this point) suggests that he's any sort of degen. If any of you who are playing professionally were to explain yourself to your future in-laws, you'd probably start with something very similar to what this guy said.

Then we meet the 2nd. He says he directs porn and unabashedly implies that he has plans to tape the honeymoon and sell it.

(Sketch goes on, nothing else relevant.)

Sure, the idea of this might be funny in certain "inside joke" ways to those of us in the internet poker community... but this is a very bold piece of evidence that the general public thinks that a (fairly well-stated) professional poker player is about as unsuitable a husband for their daughters as a porn director who is forthright to his in-laws about his intent to use his wife in his films.

The way the sketch was introduced was that the potential husbands were a pornography director and a "gambler". I expected the "gambler" to be someone exhibiting clear signs of problem gambling and degeneracy who would claim his career to be playing craps or slots -- it would have been in line with the show's usual level of craziness for pranks. Instead, it was a normal-looking person who had given little to no reason to believe that he wasn't serious about poker. I feel like the audience reacted the exact same way they would have to the degenerate professional slots player.

I can't be the only one tilted by this, right?
