40-80

Edit: I'm going to up this to 50-90 because I thought about what i would say if someone just said "what's the first thing that comes to your mind when i say paris" and i'd say hilton too...and i've been to paris, france four times in the last ten years.

it was the first round for $1,000 and she could choose a highlighted area of 40% range. so 0 to 40. 25 to 65. etc.

if the exact % was in her range, she would advance to the second round and a shot at $10,000.

Centered around 50% because they are equally important.

It would obviously depend on the context. But in this country, if it were ambiguously used (e.g. "Did you hear about Paris?" or "I was in Paris with a few friends last month"), I would be surprised if the majority of people thought of France.

so others can play but those that are curious can know:

27...but the chick's range was 43-83

some of the question answers are ridiculously off

half of the population think it's harder to be a stay at home mom than a working mom, like come on

Keep in mind they get the data from Americans.

I would guess 20-60 as my range.

I think of Ooh La La, the topless show at the Paris casino.

The 90%-130% made me

Lying Americans. On one episode 50% of women said they had personally changed a flat tire, not a chance in hell. And another question was "What percentage of women if they could have GPS tracking on their SO and know where they were at all times would do it" Something like 17% said they would, the actual number has gotta be something around 99.87%

i would've said 10-50. Phrasing matters a lot in these questions too. i think almost everyone if they just heard "paris" would think of the city, but if you ask a question suggesting paris hilton as an alternative, some people will think they'd think of that first, for whatever reason.

i dont disagree that the results seem to be very skewed.

100% of men should divorce a wife that has gained 100 lbs. but only 33% or so said they would. lolzer.

yeah polls like this never work, because for example, women think "i was there when he changed it, it was like i was changing it!" or "just cause im a woman i cant change a tire?!"

Yeah seriously. I've never even been to Oregon and I've been to Maine numerous times and I still thought Oregon.
