Between the two I'd say a waffle is better than a pancake.

But it's true pancakes are easier.

My gf used to put peanut butter on her pancakes (and french toast).

As someone that just polished off a plate of KODIAK CAKES, whipped cream, and fruit for dessert and recently gorged on waffles while in Belgium, peak waffle beats peak pancake (not saying that Kodiaks are peak, but they're tasty) and it's not particularly close.

Chicken and waffles also much preferable to chicken and pancakes.

Aussietardia, I really don't see the appeal of savoury things with pancakes but if I go to the states I would be willing to try some and be proved wrong.
