I also tried them recently. Based on my read of the ingredients, the seasoning is pretty much just salt, garlic powder, and MSG.

Try them dipped in hidden valley ranch dressing (original) for a double-MSG whammy. You won't regret it

The ingredients list is actually pretty sad and the reason why I don't buy Dots anymore. For $5.99 a pack you would think they could at least use real butter instead of artificial butter flavor and other crap.

madlex right, Dot's kinda pricy. Since I'm frugal (cheap) caught them on sale + coupon, said, "what the heck?" Probably won't be in the regular rotation, but once in a while when I find a good deal.

tried the splits but preferred the sourdough rings. can totally understand why someone would like the splits though.

I’m historically a big Dot’s fan, but Hershey acquiring them doesn’t bode well for my future consumption level. Get ready for a bunch more (mostly ridiculous) flavors and cost-cutting. They also just announced they’re taking price, which I assume will include Dot’s.

Picked these up pre-StPaddy's Day, just broke into 'em this morning. In case you can't make it out, key lime white chocolate M&M's. A couple were good, several more (not half the two-serving package) became too much. This package should last several days for just me.

But I will finish it.

Finishing off the first bag of crunchy Cheetos I've had in a decade. Really scratched an itch. Can't wait to compare it to the Dot's, which was 2x the price.

I bought a bag of Frito-Lay Layers last night, the sour cream and onion kind, not bad. Like a mutant potato cousin of Funyuns but not quite as oniony, smaller thicker rings with complex chip-connective material in the gap. $3 for a 5 oz bag.

Was just in Vegas - got a bag of these and ten dudes (well 9 cause I didn't get any) inhaled them in record time. I could've gotten ten bags and it wouldn't have been enough. Same with Dot's pretzels.

Also the Gordetto bagel chips are still on point.

Discounting price, Dot's >>>> Cheetos, all day, every day. Tastes like real cheese, along with some other spices, including black pepper. Decently crunchy. No downside, except price. 10.5oz for $6, vs 15oz for $4, sizes and prices approximated.

Same with Cheetos, I devoured my portion without effort, and am looking forward to more, later.

Found this at the local Circle K on the way into the office this morning. Pretty good, tastes more like taco seasoning than nacho cheese, tbh. I'm not upset by this. Will easily house the 2 serving bag after lunch.
