My daughter doesn't sleep in that room. She sleeps in the bed with us or on the couch.

The litter box was in the bathroom when we all lived together.

She has way too many damn toys to play with that are currently strung all over the apartment.

I simply forgot my scale and bought a new one which I though would be okay for the weigh in and made terms for a bet instead of entering another bet blindly with no terms. I admitted that it was dumb to forget my scale and use another one and I paid all of the bets.

Take a child out of her room. Remove all of her things from her place of stability, and then return her to an empty room, and have her sleep on a sofa. Nobody needs to wonder why this thread got depressing. Unbelievable what some people put their kids through.

What surprises me is the page after page of posts where Code is defending MLY over the scale. Of all the subject matter that has been spewed here and on other threads, the topic of the bet holds his fancy. Curious (or not).

People's opinion of her is so jaded they can't wait to gang up and insult and pick apart everything she says or does. Did she handle the weight off perfectly? No, of course not. But I don't think any of her actions were scummy.

This thing with the room is another example, people can't wait to pile on with anything they see. That room is essentially just an empty room. I stored a few things there and put the litter box in there. The apartment is perfectly normal. Her daughter usually sleeps on the couch or her bed if MLYLT brings it; or lays in the bed with us for 10 minutes til she falls asleep and gets moved to the bed/couch. There's nothing sad or depressing or wrong with having an empty room in an apartment.

Buy a bed for that empty room, you'll have a guestroom and MLYLT Jr. can always sleep in a bed when she visits you! Win/win situation I'd say.
