Go file a motion for support. TX standard support is 20% of his income. You may be able to get a modification to include day care and health insurance if it isn't already written into the decree but most likely that will be a separate motion you'll have to file and have a hearing for.

You may not even need a hearing for it, but even if you do most likely a state/county attorney will be there (on behalf of the state, not you) and will argue for you getting the support awarded. Remember that states get rewarded (i.e. straight cash, homey) by the Federal Government for collecting child support so it's in their interest to push for this too. They will set it up to automatically come out of his paycheck and/or unemployment and it will go directly to you, so you don't have to deal with him directly for any of it. They'll also go after him to collect if he changes jobs or fails to provide the support he is ordered to. They'll garnish wages and intercept tax returns to get the money.

In the name of science, I searched for bras on Craigslist. Clicked on the first 30 listings that had pictures. They were all either stock photos of a model in the bra, or pictures of the bra laying on a bed or something.

Not a single picture of the seller wearing it. So no, what you did is not normal.
