I agree with the ranking; what has spolied tbab's likeability forever were his betting scams

You'd think that would be fairly standard but mbabs really rankles some people so you may get some variance. If I'd asked the question before the scamming came out, definitely so.

Ah OK, I didn't know tbab much, almost didn't read his threads. I vaguely recall his disaster wishes on other people as the reasons for some of his bans, but I didn't look into the reasons for the bans of some other accounts of his because there were too many.

Before the recent big scams, I guess jmakin and Howard might put him in second. Now, I guess jmakin still might?

Has he made any reappearances since his banning? I doubt anyone doesn't put him last now. My question was probably only reasonable before the scamming became evident and even then there were probably only a couple. I'm bored lol. What's another more fun question to arouse debate?

I don’t even know N1 beyond 50 post and I like him better than Mbabs or OGbabs. Mbabs really rubs me the wrong way so maybe pre-scam... ugh I dislike them both equally for totally different reasons

I don't really know much about him. I'm assuming he's the guy who constantly gets banned for going into politics? My eyes tend to glaze over when they start rambling about politics in H&F. I've found he is reasonably pleasant in any interactions I've had with him. Idk tbh

Lesser crimes to these, but still very unlikable traits: he's spoiled, entitled, and decidedy ungrateful. Nothing Babs likes more than lashing out at people who have gone above and beyond to help him.

All of that said, I'm pretty sure that even after the scamming reveal there are people who insist upon extending him undue sympathy for one bad reason or another.

I think a lot of people discount MLYLT's attempted scam during the weight loss bet as stupid instead of malicious due to her approach to other areas of her life. But the argument could be made that she's a scammer as well, just not as proficient as tbabs.

There's no question she's a scammer too, but there's also a pretty clear difference between scamming for a couple hundred $ by cheating on a weigh-in one time* and scamming for tens of thousands over a period of many months with intent/planning/etc like babs did. I'd put them in completely different categories in that regard.

* I realize she's done more things that are at best angleshooting and at worst scamming, but that's by far the most obvious one.

Even if accepting the premise that she shot a deliberate angle at the end of that bet, I'm not inclined to label M as a "scammer," as I really don't think that running scams is a regular course of conduct for her. I think that something has to be a regular activity to merit that label. (This is for the same reason that if telling a single lie was enough to generally call someone a "liar," the word would lose all meaning because by that standard each of us is a liar.)

MLYLT is definitely not a grifter like Babs, but she is an angle shooter. Immediately after her bet with 27 she tried to angle the starting weight vs Thremp.
