Are you new here?
I'm apparently one of the detestable H&F white knights, actually; it seems that you, in fact, are the one that appears to be new.

Yeah, I'm not an 'IF is magic' slappy by any means, just pointing out that her reasons for stagnation/failure remain the same as they've always been.

A fast has to be absolute. The point is to clear out the glycogen and get insulin to drop, thus starting the fat burn.

Any caloric intake ****s it up. Or at least, any carb.

Personally I couldn't eat that much sugar in the morning and then fast.

I prefer to skip breakfast and then hold out as long as I can. Preferably til dinner.

How come all the MLY diet fail is being discussed her and not in her HF work/relationship blog?
Everyone banned from it now?

This.

The source of amusement has transferred to observing those still tilting at windmills.

I’m not going to go to her log, but I will join in any topic that comes across my subbed threads.

Irregardless to the fact, what are we supposed to talk about in here instead?

Hopefully about nothing because there are no people who post poorly in OOT. Everyone makes interesting posts about cool stuff they are doing and others join in in supportive chorus. I have thought about starting something like anti- binging thread with strats and tools that could help with the problem but am torn already few days to do it in OOT or HF.

Somehow I managed to stay out of the conversation. Now in regards to uses for this thread, we could make it a temporary Lapka appreciation thread and then just jump to another poster when we're sick of her. It could be an ongoing ass kissing thread which makes me slightly uncomfortable being an Aussie, but is perfectly suited for a poor posting thread.

Rexx,

What are the top 20 things you appreciate about lapka?

The fact that she wants to kiss her ass should give you a good idea of at least the top 5.

Didn't she lose dozens of pounds eating the same "non-satiating junk foods" during the bet with 27?

Her problem isn't what she eats. Her problem is getting herself to eat LESS.

Maybe it's just me but I feel way more sated after eating 800 calories of "junk" than the equivalent in "good foods"

Yes, it's just you. Try eating two cans of tuna and compare how full you feel vs eating two small bags of chips. They are both a little over 300 calories.

Too general. Food selection beyond “junk” and “good” categories matter a lot, not just for feeling full, but the satisfaction you get from the meal itself as well. When you get used to not eating junk foods they stop making you feel good and start making you feel like ****, also.

If I eat a more than a few bites of cake now, and I’m talking the expensive, high end cake, I spend several hours wishing it didn’t feel like a hummingbird **** in my mouth.

It's mostly BS, imo. Peeps trying to say that a person eating 3000 calories a day of **** will eat 1800 calories due to being satiated if they only ate potatoes?

As for that study, it was 41 university students with 3 peeps with a BMI 26-29 (one being "stocky, muscular male") - the rest were normal. If you're trying to get fatties to eat fewer calories due to claims of the satiety of various foods, wouldn't using all obese people be a better metric?

No, peeeps trying to say that if you eat 1800 calories of apples a day you will be less hungry than if you eat 1800 calories of bananas

Which is implicitly stating that if 1800 calories constitutes a surplus, a person would consume fewer calories if they chose the latter food, all concluded from a study over 20 years ago using kids from a uni with loose controls in place.

Sometimes fat people eat even when they're not hungry, but in any case foods high in protein and fibre are more satiating.
