Why is it still acceptable to say a poster is making a threads AIDS? You are taking a disease that is overwhelming associated with gay people to cast aspersions. Seems very offensive.

Can there be a different term used? Maybe we can call a thread that is going in the wrong direction End-Stage Renal Disease. "That poster sure is ERSDing this thread."

You should at least pay enough attention to your own posts that you don't transpose letters in an acronym. How would you like it if you were referred to as an AES kingpin?

I actually think working in the medical "business" has warped any sense of reality I once had. I see drug companies charging ridiculous prices but nobody says anything.

Why?

The individual doesn't pay for it. We all pay though collectively through insurance. So, over the last five years, I have seen everything skyrocket. The companies pick whatever price they feel like charging.

You go to school thinking that education and knowledge matters most. Or that a product sells for what the "market" thinks it is worth.

It makes one think "who cares about anything, really?"

**This old drug was free. Now it's $109,500 a year.**

Literally hundreds of other companies are doing it. It would take a hundred years to shame them all.

Don't forget that it's far more prevalent among gay minorities. TBH I don't care if golf is contained or not as I'm happy enough just to skim/skip over some of the posts he makes. The thing is if he is contained in here it seems to accelerate his posting or maybe it's just the same volume of posting but because it is in the one thread it becomes really OTT. There's always the option to just avoid this thread but then I might miss out on Mlylt's researched response to Lapka.

I don't care [edit: about containment] either. It is easy enough for me to transition into an altered state of consciousness until my eyes fall to the bottom of most of golf's posts. Thankfully I don't seem to enter many of the threads where he goes full bore. And occasionally I get a pretty good chuckle from his posts. And once in a blue moon I see something from a perspective I haven't considered before.

I do wish golf would learn the benefits of brevity when it comes to posting though.
