Which reminds of an anecdote of out of touch women! It was 2008, and I was playing 2/5 in Oregon. At the table was a Tammy Faye looking old lady who I learned was a local city council person or something of that nature. At some point somebody ordered a Red Bull, and she hadn't the faintest idea of what it was. In fact, she was entirely unawares of energy drinks altogether. As people explained them to her, she got fairly worked up and wanted to crusade against energy drinks! Very unfortunate that's the kind of person who makes decisions. Comic sans fur sure.

Hm.
I don't know a single middle aged or older lady who would use a "fancy" font in her emails, but I know one 20 sth dude, who changes fonts in basically every email and uses some blinky gifs, that make my eyes ache. He can do it and thinks it is impressive.
I guess it is really not a question of age or gender.
