No idea what you're talking about, a few months ago you were basically universally regarded as a great poster in this forum. If you'd drop the Thremp awfulness I'm sure you'd be back in no time.

M05 will talk to me nice, polite and respectful (and that doesn't mean agree with me in everything), like everyone else does. My aggressive reaction to his trolling led to that we are almost there. You don't like it? You have good arguments beside that you don't like it for me to change my behavior here? If your only argument is that you don't like it, it is your problem.

And about my great poster or so status..... I like to be liked, but it so isn't an argument to do or not to do XYZ.

Better I get muddy than a pig will be running around in my space and I will pretend that it is not there. Especially because I think that M05 gets exactly as bad as he is allowed to. I mean look at him now. At least three posters said that he is actually good now. I mean...... I think there is still a plenty of room for improvement. And it doesn't matter why he behaves now more or less normal: either because he doesn't want to escalate things with me, or someone smarter told him that the risk/reward is not worth the escalation or he starts to get that he pretty habitually says a bunch of things that can be really plain harmful. The point is that if I wouldn't signal him that I will go to the limit, he would still try to poke me every time I post something in LC there.

To this day I am shocked with universal strat applied in HF to ignore M05. I am shocked that not a single of the men in HF had enough balls to stop him in a story with SS. I don't get that M05's habitual "People are dumb" won't get trolled to the absolute end. I totally don't get this: "Let us pretend that he is not existing. May be he will just disappear." I mean, look at your president. That is where everything ends if you just ignore things.

No one here has said Thremp "is good" as far as I'm aware. We're saying you are really bad when you post about him (note that you're mostly posting "about" him these days, not actually interacting with him. Like right here for example).

I think Thremp is a really bad poster and that H&F would be better without him, if that helps. That you've been the worst H&F poster in the last month is saying a lot, imo.

Initially engaging with Thremp in the way that you did was perfectly understandable, but a good poster knows when to back away from a completely pointless argument rather than continuing to throw an endless barrage of posts at total futility. You're not going to slap civility into him. No other poster will either. The fact that you're right stops mattering at a certain point when it's well within your control to just wash your hands of the whole thing.

1. YOU and only YOU brought M05 here.
2. It doesn't help to think that world should be wonderful and just and fair. It helps to do things to make it true.

I disagree with bold. I won't be able to make him civil with everyone, but he will be civil with me or the whole thing will escalate like not seen here. You can bet big money on that.

Since the former is 100% not happening, it will be the latter I guess. What will be accomplished?
