I was hospitalized, officially diagnosed, put on meds, started therapy, moved two hours away from my boyfriend, stopped meds, stopped therapy, started spiralling down again and had a few more manic suicidal episodes, got back on meds and therapy and my insurance changed, had a delima of holding off on therapy for a few months until I was financially stable(I stayed on the meds and paid for them), my bipolar is getting better and my relationship finally came to a point where we are both willing to grow together. I started therapy last week, I'm moving in with my sis to save money, and my relationship has a definite positive future. Oh, I also lost 75lbs through all of this and I'm going to sexy.
Please get back on your meds.
If you are actually taking your meds as prescribed, please talk to your psychiatrist about adjusting them. Or find another psychiatrist. Seriously!
