Should I take this part out of my OKC profile?

"I like playing poker too. I played in the World Series of Poker Main Event twice (a long time ago) and was on ESPN for one hot minute."

Or should I reword it?

Thanks.

How accurate are these 4/5 star rating things? And what are they based on? I've never had A-list before. I feel like just clicking through a bunch of pics quickly wouldn't waste that much time to find women that you find attractive enough.

I have poker fairly prominently in my profile, and I think it is has only helped me...I even have a picture of myself from a tournament. I imagine it is really only a problem if you don't have much else going for you.

just got a weird message from someone with a profile that has no pictures and is just random lines from Jane Eyre:
hey yo, I just realized I already wrote you a while back, obviously a dud, but ran across you again hereabouts and 1) my kid recently asked me the question about foxes, and showed me the video, and 2) I can teach you how to wrap presents. I'm cool, I swear.
(points one and two are references to my profile)

I just got my third "hey sexy" variation opener from a tranny

Have yet to be opened by a desirable girl yet, have been 5 starred by some good ones though

Is that a guy or girl that messaged you?

There's a clear scale, in that an average 5 is reliably > an average 4> 3>2>1, so it tells you something at any rate. But there's massive inflation in the star system on okc. I've seen many un-bangable 4s and several un-bangable 5s

It says "female" but there are no pics, and that type of writing definitely sounds like it's written by a man. I'm skeptical, lol.

Do you guys ever get in touch with the girls that have visited your page but did not open you? If so, is there any standard message you go with? Thanks much.

Nothing standard but if they are good looking and visit I almost always send something, just a normal opener usually

There was a msic copy pasta for that a while back:

"You think you can just waltz up onto my page, creep on my pics, read my about me (totally agree with it), and then just leave without a trace?

I got eyes on you missy, you owe me a "hello message" which I expect in my inbox. I want it in 12pt. font, single spaced, with a good thesis to start

Think you can handle that?
"

I have never used a copy pasta online dating(although have done it a couple times on tinder because a lot less info), but for people that like that ****.

If you want to download the misc lines(Word doc): http://forum.bodybuilding.com/attach...1&d=1307362146

So I'm 32. Profile says 29 as this gives much easier access to 22-40 imo. Talked with a 33 yo girl for a while. Went out for a drink last night. Shes cool and we got along great. She made a few comments such as 'wait till you turn 30'. I just went along with it. Also told her I had younger brothers, which is true, and when she asked their age I had to quickly drop a couple years off.
Anyways she's cool. Wants to hang out again. I don't see how I can come clean. I don't think I'll date her, so I guess just roll with it. Thoughts?

Not sure exactly what it was, but I remember earlier in the thread someone mentioning a standard line to say. Obv better to just send a normal message, but if you like the profile but are struggling for something to say it's better than nothing.

Pretty good example why it is really dumb to lie, especially about something like your age.

lie about much bigger, more important things. that way when she finds out you were lying about your age it wont seem like such a big deal!

Poker is never going to be a plus, but may be a negative. Have fun reverse freerolling yourselves.

Just put your age as 23 housenuts, and then be like, "O I meant to type 32, misclicked."

No downside.

It doesn't ime. Three years in that range doesn't mean much if anything to women, might even work slightly in your favor. It's more about what you have (or don't have) going on with your life. Not worth lying about this lol. If you're trying to pull some college girl there are plenty out there open to guys 10 years older.

It's too late now, but in the future that's the moment you fess up and say "what? I'm 32, I must have hit the wrong thing when filling out my profile"

That's what the guy who lied about his age to me did. Of course I knew it was a total lie but I just went along with it since liars apparently entertain me.

Gotta disagree with this, it can be a plus if its not your main/only income.
