"I see you're drinking 1% milk. Is that because you think you're fat? Cause you're not. You could be drinking whole milk."

I think using something like this could work well for this time of year for a canned opener...

"Hey,

You have a pretty kick ass profile. It's too bad summer is winding down, but what would you say the highlight of yours was?"

Too scripted imo, I think girls would pick up on that. Add that into a small reference to their profile and you're good to go though. Also, there has to be an alternative to "kick ass".... but I can't really think of an alternative right now, so maybe not.

seeing super nice body pilates blonde again tonight. we've been texting pretty constantly since our last date.

also have a date with another blonde set up for thursday. she went to the same college as me and we have like 1 degree of separation, should be interesting since I used to bang this one girl she knows my freshman year.

What do you guys think of the girls that respond like 24-48 hours later, but it's clear they have been online several times in between? Assuming their responses are decently thought out, this is not a positive or negative, right?

Pay,

Stop stalking their profiles to check up on them. Imagine if you had access to a girl's email, IM, text, and phone access records - OMG, she sent thirteen texts since I sent mine and hasn't replied to mine yet, what should I make of this!??!?!?!?!

Yeah I mean think of it this way...

She likely has 20+ messages in her inbox so she goes through all of them, then picks the best ones to respond to and takes the time to make a good response to each. Gonna take time.

I'm not stalking, the person I am bringing up is "online now" a rediculous amount (like everytime I log in), thats all.

I dont like it, I think a reference to a profile just has a way better shot (e.g. this would be fine if she lists summer as one of the things she couldnt do without). Edit - thats obv not the definition of canned opener tho .. lol

I think its neutral and sometimes a negative (for reasons stated above, she takes the best ones to respond to). OTOH I have no idea how girls manage this and it could very well be possible that she has an open tab or uses the app frequently.

I really thought this was your joke profile, so I said:

"Shut up, just shut up. You had me at chloroform"

They started asking me a bunch of questions and I was answering them. H8 life

I see a lot of POF profiles where girl states the app shows me as online all the time but I'm not so if I don't respond for a while that is the reason.

Why do people put "used up" as their body type?

I just got a message from OKC inviting me to be a moderator. At first I thought it was some kind of spam but it seems like it's legit: http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/1994775

I've never moderated anything and I don't have lots of time to spare, but it seems like it would be interesting to see just how weird and creepy people can get. If I accept I'll post stuff I find funny ITT.

There is a 'Moderation' button which will allow you to see reported profiles/pics, but you don't have to click on it. That's where I found the profile I linked to.

You mean this is open to anyone? I feel less special now.

One time I actually opened with something like asking "did you enjoy space camp?" because I thought that she had creatively written that in. I got a response of some sort, but that was back when I was an OKC n00b so I probably messed it up somehow later. Then later I saw it a few more times and realized that it was an actual given option. fail

This chick is ten minutes late for a first date. I may have to kill her.

Girls who are 10 minutes late are really 15 minutes early

Did she at least give you a heads-up? I've had girls be late numerous times, but they were all kind of enough to give me a heads-up, so I didn't mind at all.

Without a heads-up, I think I'd leave after 15min. Complete lack of respect IMO.

Went on a meh first date with a girl 8 days ago. No girl TY text or any texting at all between us and she just viewed my OKC profile again. What does that mean?
