I'm thinking about putting up a pic of myself playing poker, similar to the one you have up.

I got this a few weeks ago. Apparently you only get it once, even if you dip back into "not hot".

Supposedly there's some browser plugin called iMacros guys on another forum are using to somehow get a bunch of page views and messages. Think they set it up to auto click the meet me or something. Gotta read more. Anybody hear about this?

I met a girl on a non-dating site and we added each other on FB and have sent a few messages back and forth. I'm 100% sure she is interested and I'm 100% sure I'm interested - but I have no idea where to take it from here.

We don't live in the same city but it's highly likely we'll end up living in the same city at some point in the future (complicated) so I want to see if we can start something up online now. But how? We can see all the biographical data about each other just from Googling each other so there is no point in asking a lot of questions one would ask in a bar.

I really have no idea how to advance an e-relationship. How often should I message her? What's too much and not enough? Should I say anything that indicates my interest? Just make stupid bull**** chit chat or what?

"i already know all your biographical data from googling you" is a good opener

feel like I need to acknowledge the fantastic posts by Styles P a couple pages ago that perfectly outline my opinion on dating/interracial dating.
Read their blog. They post all sorts of interesting things.

Basically the hot thing boils down to women wont use the site if they get millions of messages from dudes, so they don't put hot girls in the results of ugly dudes, so they wont message them. Works the opposite way too but it's primarily about keeping women on the site.

If your results are full of hot girls, congrats, okcupid thinks you're hot. If your results are full of huge beefers, then their algorithm thinks you are ugly.

Did OKcupid price go up for 2013? Last night it was 10 bucks for a A-list subscription, now it's 15 dollars.

Just to clarify, OKC does not make it impossible for ugly guys to see the profiles of hot girls. If you do a search, the results will include everyone on the site who matches the criteria you searched on (unless you have hidden someone or they have specifically blocked you).

The site does try to match people based on attractiveness in your "quiver" and your "matches" that appear at the top of your home screen. And this seems sensible to me at least.

Hi, you you definitely qualify as a potential client for my business! Would you like to hear more information?

Business? What?

Jan 1, 2013 – 11:37pm
Basically I come to people's houses and give their belongings (and any random household objects!) fun names. The qualifications are you have to be an attractive woman.

An example of my services: I just named two flies in my house Buzz and Buzz Jr.
Cost will be $30/HR. This is a steal and you know it!

Wow. Too bad I'm currently like.. paying for a car and insurance and food and things like that, or else I'd totally love to have someone re-name all of my items.

Anyway, you'd end up in an argument with me, given that I've named a lot of my own items. Thanks for pitching your products with me!

Well, thanks for the consideration. I'll make one more pitch though. How about you and I just go out for ice cream and we'll discuss things further. This consultation is free of charge, and the ice creams on me!

Solid though I can't stand explanation point usage like that

True, but most girls aren't from 2p2 so without them it's pretty easy to just come off as a douche.

Yeah its probably more of a personal thing

Also depends on the context but nearly always they are used with faux enthusiasm

I wasn't actually asking you so much as mocking you.

explanation != exclamation

fwiw, I hate using exclamation points even after things like "happy birthday" because usually I'm really just not that excited.
