They are remaking the John Wayne classic True Grit
[x] Jeff Bridges with an eye patch
[x] Matt Damon being a bad ass
[x] Gorgeous Roger Deakins cinematography, including winter shots of the old west, which always look fantastic
[x] Coen Brothers Genre Revisionism

It's getting released on Christmas Day and I am very excited, though I am worried that it will feel a little derivative/formulaic. There is no doubt in my mind it will be incredibly executed though.
