Last night was my bar poker league's annual Halloween costume night. Some fun costumes. One couple was Super Mario and the Princess. Another had pullovers of a bottle of tequila and a lime. Other good ideas, but the best was a recently-married couple.

Husband had an old-style milkman's delivery outfit; wife had a 60s-era-looking housedress, the old plastic batwing glasses, and a bandanna in her hair. In other words, the milkman and the bored housewife.

Needless to say, they got one of the "best costume" prizes.

That's a great costume for a couple. Fast forward to the late 70s and you have the college co-ed with the pizza delivery dude.

I still strive to make it to your bar poker league, maybe early next year? We just demoed our master bed/bath and I'm framing now. Tile guy came this week to tell me exact dimensions for the shower so he can make it look like a shower in a 10 million dollar house. So much involved in design and layout. Also, rules around plumbing drains/venting is hard.

Pretty easy costume, considering I am Christopher Mintz-Plasse.

i used to dibble dabble in two threads - one was the pen and the other was whichever one jmakin/josie/dodger/lbr/mod with olivia munn avatar/howard/you/water/rr/etc all posted in which rotated monthly

i think that is this one but whenever i poke my head in the new monthly version of this thread periodically it doesn't feel the same anymore

so i was wondering if that old thread with a new vibe or this is a different thread that those people never hung out in
