I remember The Edge came out right around the same time as The Game; I thought both were crappy names for pretty interesting movies. I'd give The Edge a slight edge though. It's the one with the killer bear, Anthony Hopkins, and Alec Baldwin, playing for keeps out in the wilderness.

I loved that movie though I always thought the title "The Edge" didn't really encompass what it was about.

something like "Crazy Psycho Men & Bear" might've been more appropriate.

lol i forgot how sketchy my 8-3 was. I didn't remember that I glitched 4-2, that made me proud.

I got some unrecorded runs in the ~5:15 range which is about the best I can do. Shaving more time will require a lot of practice of stuff I'm just not super willing to put the time into, so that's why I stopped. The stuff that the real pros do is actually absurd.

Nowadays my routine at a party is to just try to get people to bet money that I can play through mario bros without a game over. which I can do 100% of the time even if I'm blacked out drunk, but people usually get pissy about me using warps. So now it's just a dumb party trick. Practically everyone has one of those NES mini things so it's a surprisingly common scenario, but I don't attend many house parties anymore because I'm an adult.

I have a lot of weird hobbies, shrug. Guess it's not any better than memorizing countries on a map.
