I guess follow up responses have pretty much answered your first question. As to the second: he officially lost the bet on Dec 13 when the 49ers lost to the Cleveland Manziels. The first delay was becuase "the season isn't over yet". The season ended on Jan 3. Now, he just doesn't have the money.

However, I was just informed I'd be paid within 2 weeks of today!!!d!dd!

When Larry made babs a resume and he couldn't figure out how to convert Larry's post into something he could use, I used a throwaway gmail account, created a google .doc with the resume, and made babs the owner of the document, so he has my email address.

I just noticed that babs has sent me a couple of emails. In the latest he repays my kindness with a nice note of thanks.
