Had this today, and it was surprisingly good. Nothing earth-shattering, but it seemed to be just their basic Whopper with bacon, but with added thinly sliced pizza-type pepperoni slices on it.

Gave it a nice, slightly spicy flavor. I will have it again tomorrow I think. Sadly no cheap nuggets here anymore either.

So, TB is making a deliberately flat biscuit so it can be folded into a taco shape.

Undoubtedly an improvement on baking a big fluffy biscuit, cutting it open, and putting breakfast ingredients inside.

meh, it seems like TB is trying too hard with all of these "new" products. The new products are just old products slightly tweaked - biscuit taco instead of a waffle taco, Fritos taco instead of a Doritos taco. Nothing really exciting imo, seems like a waste of R&D. How about a completely new product???

I mean, most of Taco Bell R&D has been rearranging their 8 main ingredients into different configurations. Doritos shell was a game changer, as well as breakfast.

I applaud them trying new items.

Their problem isn't with coming up with new items, it's getting rid of things like lava sauce and the BCB. Like wtf..

I'd be happy if we got those 2 back and they never even tried to think of anything new ever again.

if TB really wants to become a player in the breakfast game, they should consider opening their drive-thru sometime before 7am. that's the one thing that MCDs has going for it: most of their (non-24 hour) places start serving at 5-5:30. not saying that most people will go there at that time, but you will be able to bracket almost all of your breakfast customers with those hours.
if you are a FF place and want to crush breakfast then you should try to serve breakfast as a full time job and not for just half of the morning commute.
