I've talked about Super Duper a bunch in this thread, love it.

Burgerville is very good.

Umami burger I thought was good but not super impressed for the very high price.

Beck's Prime is is great. Amazing burgers and shakes.

Both Umami and Beck's are more sit-down casual places than fast-food.
Meatheads confirmed great. Fries are on par with 5guys as well.

Culver's is good. We have a few in town. I was pleased when they opened as I'd been a few times on road trips. Good all-around, my kids like the kid's meals (which come with dessert).

Also, the CCF limoncello torte mentioned above is AMAZING. I love cheesecake, but it's hard to pass that one up.

Culvers is great. I recently tried their Pepper Pub Burger (http://www.culvers.com/menu-and-nutr...burger-double/) and enjoyed it a bunch.

does the bun have bacon bits on it? Looks that way.

I guess in America an "authentic pub bun" has poppy seeds, sesame seeds and bacon on it. God Bless their cotton socks.

My guess is small grilled onions like Arby's beef and cheddar bun

Tried Chick-Fil-A for the first time today. I was stuck visiting a mall location and I ate my food in the car(YTF style) as I made a quick stop at the mall while on my way to a job, but aside from that my experience was pretty good. I went with an original value meal(fries and lemonade) and a spicy sandwich on the side, Chick-Fil-A sauce and Barbecue for dipping. Customer service was great, had to wait a bit more than 5 minutes for my order but I was fine with that after digging into the bag.

I really don't like pickles but I left them on the sandwiches to get the real experience. I thought both sandwiches were delicious. Possible leaning more towards the original than the spicy but they both are damn good. The chicken was super hot and juicy and sized perfectly. Should have went with the biggest size lemonade though.

Can't wait to eat there again!

Chiming in on the CCF - I always get the carrot cake cheesecake. However I can confirm that the Banana and is great. I only go around twice a year so my opportunity to try others is somewhat limited as I know I will not be disappointed with the above two.

Sampled a Five Guys Sea Salted Carmel shake with malt - very good but slow on the execution - 10 minutes to make 2 shakes.

Next trip, I will attempt a do-it-yourself chocolate egg cream using 1/2 chocolate shake and seltzer from the freestyle machine.

It's been a while since I've hit up McDonald's late night, but being able to order a sausage egg mcmuffin was a pleasant surprise

It was definitely made fresh too. Might be the first time I've had a breakfast Sandwich there that I could say that.

there's a ton of variance at my mcds irt how well the bun is cooked on mcmuffins. barely toasted = very nasty, burnt = surprisingly good. and you'd think detroit would be good at this stuff!

personally, i think the simple pairing of chicken/pickles is amazing. unfortunately, one of my daughters is simply not having it, leaving me in the awkward position of having to order her reg sandwiches -pickles. (so don't feel weird it definitely happens---order what you want)

anyway--glad you liked it. CFA is awesome.

Should just request a grilled cheese if you're going to do that.

I think that Culver's chocolate custard sets the bar for all others. Mixing it with peanut butter cups is so ridiculously good.

Has anyone had the BBQ brisket burger at Wendy's yet? It caught my eye yesterday after I had already made my order and it was too late (and busy) to change it in the drive thru line. I will be trying it hopefully this weekend however. I have low expectations.

We have a couple Rudy's BBQ's here with the same concept. It also includes those cherry tomato sized hot peppers.

Not sure if you're acquainted with their roots, but Rudy's started just north of San Antonio, so I'm pretty sure kioshk is familiar with the concept.
