A local Korean grocery store in my neighborhood that always has amazing snacks and exotic ramen.

Their guac was the perfect side for the old grilled steak taquitos. One of my fave items, RIP

Tried out a new burger place here, P. Terry's Burger Stand. It's pretty cool, seemed like a cross between In n Out and a semi-hipster old Austin place. Good prices and food, that's for sure. And real cool architecture and interior design. Double cheeseburger and huge basic fries for 6 bucks. Nice outside patio too with a great view, but crazy narrow heh. Sorta a Jetsons vibe going. https://pterrys.com/locations/san-an...nio-med-center

P Terrys is solid, the menu style is basically a direct rip off of in-n-out for sure the owners have admitted as much, but they opened before in-n-out came to Texas.

Not as far as I know. Got a couple of $1 beef burritos earlier in the week and the website still has all the dollar items when I start a mobile order.

It's incredible the amount of independence the sandwich artists at Subway are given these days.

I ordered a turkey sandwich and the artist put the meat on and asked what cheese, but then added tomatoes, onions, an ass ton of mayo, and moldy looking spinach, and closed it up and went to the cash register. Never asked me about toppings, decided on them herself.

I ended up telling her I didn't want it and just left, but WTF?

And yes, I blame myself for going to Subway.

And no, no beverages were heaved in this lunch attempt.

Confirmed that's on you for going to Subway. It's the worst meat, produce, and bread in the game.

Also, I don't think anyone working there wouldn't be high on something and just did their artistry.

Spoiler:
I've never hit a Blimpies, but I'd bet they have Subway beat in a taste test.

never been to a P Terry's, but their restaurants are designed in the 'googie' style of architecture. google image search 'googie' and you'll see what i mean.

Michael Hsu is a nationally known firm out of Texas that has apparently designed several of their restaurants (along with many others that folks in TX may recognize).

isn't it obvious by the orgasmic look on each of the overpaid athlete's faces when they take that first enjoyable bite into the sandwiches they are shilling?
i'm willing to bet the sounds Brady makes after his first bite are something Gisele has never heard before

Who are you to interfere in the artist's process?

I used to go to Subway back in the day and I never had a sandwich artist just put stuff randomly on it instead of asking me specifically what I wanted.

Not even ****ing ONCE!

Pei Wei. Rolled in an hour before close, they slammed. 55 mins later sesame tofu and broccoli beef. People giving up on their orders periodically through the hour lol.

_______

Sarku is a chain that has I think about 80 locations
their chicken teriyaki is a favorite of mine - it's great IMHO
I usually get it with the fried rice instead of the noodles
I get double meat - costs $11 - it's a huge plate - I get 2 meals out of it

TB starting to piss me off. Just got a couple chicken chipotle melts which are pretty darn small, and it came to $3.92. They went up in price to $1.79 each. They were 99 cents a week ago.

Maybe TB is jacking up their prices so that we don't notice how back the value is for their new chicken thingies.
