For some reason both Chipotles in my town are now indefinitely closed for lunch. No explanation. Just a paper sign on the door saying "The hours of this restaurant are now 4pm to 10pm."

Is it an area normally supported by an office lunch crowd? Makes a ton of sense if so - near my pre-Covid office there were an absolute ton of restaurants that seemingly made all their revenue between 11 and 2 from the dozens of offices packed within 4 or 5 square blocks. Now I'm sure most of them are struggling (the Chipotle still opens at 11AM per Google, though.)

4-10 hours means you can run the store on one shift - 1 hour prep, 6 hours open, 1 hour closing. You can trim a lot of labor that way.

Any of you use the Culver's app? I installed this morning, but when I look at (all) my local (Phoenix Metro) locations, none of them are available for mobile ordering. Really, it was the only thing I wanted the app for in the first place.

Does it work anywhere? Maybe Wisconsin only?

OK, I guess browsing the various 'flavors of the day' available locally might be useful, in case I want butter pecan instead of chocolate heath crunch (more likely vice versa, amirite?)

If you love trashy supermarket asian food like I do, this is worth doing at least once. It's a good 2-3 meals worth of value.

The local Safeway doesn't seem to have anything like that. Even the Walmart deli has orange chicken, General Tsao's chicken, etc. No rice though, so I have to go across the street to Panda. Why not get the chicken at Panda's too, you might ask? Because it's better from Walmart, a sad commentary.

Who knows if this will ever be a thing again, but the Safeway by my office had a perfectly acceptable and convenient lunch buffet pre-covid.

drove thru the bell this morning for a sausage crunchwrap. had one from the same place a week or so ago and it was glorious, so had reasonable hopes.
as previously rumored, they've made the switch away from the sausage patty to the nuggets they use in other items. honestly might just be the last one i get. primary problem with nuggets, besides not getting to bite thru a patty every time, is they aren't evenly distributed and were clumped together in one end. a few bites were just shbrowns, egg, and cheese. also don't think it was the same amount of sausage as before. RIP.

hate ****s are a thing, and the taste and texture you want are a primary reason to have them.
i've never had angry sex or make-up sex with taco bell, and i don't see that happening anytime soon.

At McDonald's AKA McRick's, where you yes can get a large soft drink for $1, you can ask for LIGHT ICE in your drink. It's actually a thing that they have a button for and it shows up on your receipt, which results in you getting more of your delicious beverage.

In my younger years I was a no ice guy. Not now!

Before Carls this evening I stopped into Sevvies for a 69c FFMD. Since I didn't really want a **** ton of Mt. Dew, just enough to wash my burgers down, I filled the cup with ice and trickled the Dew in and around. Felt good, man.
