I just went to Wendy's. While waiting in the drive thru, I got to see a pigeon impregnate another! I was just a bit too slow on whipping out my camera.

I got a doublestack 4 for 4 and a Baconator. The Baconator beefs actually had a little pink going on! I dipped it in the honey mustard. Also, I put that onion remnant on there as well. Will be adding onions to next order.

I'm upset that Wendy's stopped using red onions. I also liked their old BBQ sauce better. It was more of a smokey BBQ, the current one is like a honey BBQ.

I completely agree with both of these statements (assuming the bk pulled pork doesn't count as it is hands down the worst thing I've ever eaten at a fast food restaurant)

if you want a combination of ten dollar menu items i suggest 5 guys.

Just got a 12pc leg and thigh from El Pollo Loco. Mac, slaw, and pinto beans, at least a dozen flour tortillas. Good stuff!

So I haven't been to a FF in 5-6 weeks - who has the best touch-free service? (I'm guessing CFA). Like can you make a mobile order, pull in to a designated spot, pop your trunk, and they will put food bag in?

Dominos here will do something similar. They bring it out to your car, I'm sure if you popped the trunk they would put it in there. Pizza gets baked, then is exposed to humans for only a few seconds before the box is closed.

After the earlier wing discussion, I got dinner at Wingstop last night. (fyi - No coupons used)

I added some Lemon Pepper flavored wings because of this thread. The seasoning reminded me a little of eating fried fish. Nevertheless, it was still pretty good.

I guess the old joke that the difference between Long John Silvers fish and chicken is based by what you put on it actually has some truth.

CFA is pretty seamless. Order and pay through the app, choice to go thru the drive thru to pick up or they'll bring it out to you. I've only done the drive thru route, they put it in a tray and you grab it off that.

Unrelated: Rolled through a Taco Bell and the sign board said they've revamped their breakfast menu. Still have the goat crunchwraps but they've added toasted breakfast burritos. Seems like toasting would elevate the product so I'm going to have to investigate this situation during breakfast hours sometime soon.

Also: Every fast food place I went by today was packed, long drive thru lines everywhere.

We tried to hit DQ at LOL 7:30pm last night. Line of cars out to the street and past, even (couple waiting to make the right turn into the lot). We called BS on that and hit a CVS for ice cream novelties.

Finally went to the Which Wich down the street from my apartment I've been living in for 3 months and, hoo boy, I don't think I was missing much.

I got a French dip. It was $15!!!! I had low expectations coming in but once they rang me up for $15 i was wondering if I might be in for a treat. Nope. Nothing interesting about this at all. Beef overcooked, au jus too salty, bread bland.

EDIT: Forgot the true lowlight of the sandwich, the caramelized onions. These are the worst caramelized onions I've ever had. I didnt know they could taste this gross.

Was a French dip just a terrible order? Should I get something else there? I think I might be permanently retired from Which Wich unless one of you guys make a convincing argument.

I had which wich a few times a few years ago. It was decent at best. Never had the French dip tho. I would choose Jersey Mike’s, Firehouse, and most other sandwich spots instead of WW, but I would choose it over Subway of course.

I'm very sympathetic to your point here, but to be clear, that **** I had tonight was worse than subway, especially if we're normalizing for price.

Subway's actually had some deals last 3-4 weeks.

lol hadn't had Chili's in prob 10-15 years but picked up curbside lunch from there last week bc there's one near my work; the crispy chicken tenders and loaded mashed spuds were delightful tbh. They brought it out and put it in the back seat of my car.
