I had a reaper ranch taco at Taco Bell and for $1 just a great item and deal.

I had two reaper ranch, two chipotle cheddar, and bean burrito for lunch yesterday. We quickly see diminishing returns. But yes, great value for 1 or 2.

Was really feeling it yesterday so rolled to my local Taco Bell and fired up one each of the new double decker tacos and a nacho party pack.

Agree with the consensus that it goes: chipolte cheddar, reaper ranch and then nacho crunch. The reaper ranch was sneaky hot and surprised me. The nacho crunch is way too dry but might be sneaky elite with spicy ranch sauce.

As for the nacho party pack...my goodness it's a lot. Just an unholy amount of food. I added spicy ranch for some extra sauce and even then, I could only get about 60% of the way through before I had to call it quits. I think my ability to eat fast food is probably on par with most of the thread in that I can put it down. That being said, that nacho party pack might be the Old 96'er of chain fast food items.

Made it at home. Costco has a killer deal in egg whites. 8 quart size cartons for like 8.99 its quick and easy. Spray the pan and mushrooms with pam (saves calories over butter) toss in minced garlic from Costco. (Giant tub like 7 bucks) cook for 6-10 minutes depending how soft you like your shrooms (I like mine a bit more steak like so I cook them less than most) pour in egg whites and cook for 3-5 more minutes.

Voila!

I saw a parody poster of Coachella where Popeye's Chicken Sandwich is headlining day three. It made me want a couple so I headed over there. Got two "spicys" with extra pickles. I use the "" marks because the sauce was actually regular mayo and they gave me the spicy mayo in a separate container.

Man, I dunno who all is spreading lies about small pieces of chicken! I could barely fit my huge mouth around the sandwich. First time having a Popeye's sandwich in about six weeks and it was good.

Didn't want to add the spicy mayo to the regular mayo to get too much mayo, so just saving the spicy sauce in the container for some of me own sandwiches. Oh yeah.

Oh man what an honor. Unfortunately I dont do much fast food these days. Only thing I truly enjoy on a semi regular basis is CFA chicken egg and cheese biscuit but I always want that **** on ****ing Sundays!

I'm going to Brazil next month and after about a week abroad I get random cravings for fast food. I think I just miss the American nastiness. I'll try to hit some fast food down there most likely in the airport and fo a proper TR

Brag: Finally got chicken sandwiches at the Seattle White Center Popeyes! (Was in the neighborhood, showed up just a few minutes after opening time.)
Beat: The manager refused to allow a custom order, i.e., no extra sauce extra pickle on the spicy, and wouldn't even make a classic without mayo. She was a real dick about it too, really bummed me out
Variance: I considered adding a large strawberry soda to my order so I couldst hurl it across the dining room, but didn't.

Double truffle mushroom swiss from Smashburger. Over two hours later and I still feel like my body is comprised of mushroom swiss burger. Really tasty.

Btw, has anyone been to an airport Popeye's? The very few times I've had a Popeye's in an airport, it was always the bomb. Woops, let's not use that analogy.

For real though, I would think working at an airport location like that would be better because you probably aren't pushing out a dozen 20 piece family meals + 8 biscuits and 2 large sides during a rush. It's probably a whole bunch of 2 and 3 piece meals, chicken strips.... and the sandwiches!!

I dunno. I also just figured that there wouldn't be quite as big as an emphasis on "rush hours" like at normal restaurants. Of course there will be more business than usual during regular lunch times (11.00 - 14.00) and dinner (17.00 - 20.30). But again, just guessing here, I was thinking most folks (like me) get a 2 piece w biscuit and potates before flying because they know they're just getting peanuts and a cola on the flight. Or at best a grab bag before you go one with semi thawed sandwich that has the middle still frozen.

BH, that mushroom Swiss burger looks phenomenal. I can’t compete with that, but I can show this 3x3 animal style that I just ate.
