It's not a fast food place but Cheddar's has some awesome onion rings.

Recently saw a commercial for Carl's Jr. where you get a free Grilled Cheese Bacon Burger on July 4th if you dress like Spiderman. Anybody going to do it?

Went to BK Sunday morning for breakfast, first time in a long time bc their breakfast blows. Ordered a Bacon egg and cheese biscuit value meal listed at 3.99 and made it a medium. Total came to 6.10. The cashier insisted it was right. I looked at my receipt and they had charged 29 cents for the hash brown upgrade, 39 cents to make the coffee a soda, and 89 cents to make it a medium. I told them this was ridiculous and all they said was "sorry, the prices changed". I asked for a refund but they said they couldn't because its what I ordered and I had already drank some LOL.

So like any classy individual I filled it up with barqs root beer and launched it into their empty dining room, because I keeps it real like that.

Wow, that's cool to punish (assuming you're not joking) the assistant fry cook or whomever who has no control over their pricing policies but has to clean that up. Or perhaps you think the someone from BK HQ price setting department is gonna come down and clean it up.

I live close to the 75 and 635 intersection; there's an In N Out at Coit and the 635 service road. No problems getting through the Drive Thru in <5 minutes during lunch.

Was discussing with some coworkers yesterday, and a lot of them prefer Whataburger to In N Out. I was sort of turned off a bit from Whataburger when I went there for breakfast a while ago and they gave me wheat buns for my bacon/egg/cheese sandwiches, and I waited 10 minutes for hashbrowns. Whataburger is normally consistently great, but wheat buns for breakfast is just weird and I wasn't thrilled that I had to wait so long.

Anyway, I think I'll head back to In N Out this week and substitute the fries for a shake.

Everything I've eaten at Cheddar's has been surprisingly good, but yeah, the onion ring stack is great.

not sure if it's been mentioned but the spicy mcbites nuggets from mcdonalds aren't bad at all for a little side item on whatever your normal order is...

yea I'm about 5min from there and have friends in that new apartment complex right off the 635 west-bound access road at Coit.

I think In N Out is good, but yea I'm a Whataburger man. I actually really like Sonic's hamburgers, I know I'm in the small minority there.

Went to cafe rip today, the Mexican who made my smothered chicken burrito was really stingy making my burrito flat. It was like $8.60. The place has gone downhill but it's still the best burrito out there IMO

I gave them a "get off my lawn" glance on my way out.

And yeah it was totally douchey but a) there's no ****ing reason in the world upgrading to a medium value meal from a small should be $2, especially not for breakfast, unless someone can prove otherwise and b) they refused to look into it all when I brought it up to them and only said "the prices have changed" (cashier and the manager both gave this answer, although the manager didn't have time for me) and c) this BK has notoriously bad customer service where I've waited in line behind 2 people before and not been served in 15 minutes and kept my cool and d) the food was awful and e) I was still drunk from the night before and not liable for my actions.

Most importantly BK is the ****ing worst and they deserve all the bad rap they've been getting lately.
