I went to my local McRick’s and was a bit concerned as I didn’t see 2 for $5 anywhere on the menu.

However I inquired with the cashier and they DID have it so I got me some QUARTER POUNDERS WITH CHEESE.

Used my weekly $1 small or medium fries app offer for Medium fries.

Everything was McRicktastic. New fast food discussion/review thread New fast food discussion/review thread

Pretty tasty and ****ing enormous.

They also have a 2 for $5 mix and match, featuring original bif, beef n cheddar, fish sandwich, and loaded curlies.

As long as you stick with couple cheese + fries or a deluxe cheese and maybe a fries you aren't getting anywhere close to $13. It's only when you start adding in shakes or doing multiple deluxe that you have any chance of blowing past ten.

i thought the only reason they existed was "hot n ready" so you didnt have to order most things.

i would have to say its pretty terrible tho. dominoes $8 large 3 topping, which you can also get in thin crust (and to whoever said pizza hut, theirs is cut in squares by default also) is gonna be way better

None of those you mentioned have the same kind of crust the LC does. IMO the LC is better in this particular pizza.

It will truly be a merry Christmas if that new arbys sando comes to Canada. How did it compare to a MM bighurt?

Similarly and about 2/3 the price. Main difference is lettuce tomato and mayo.

Back in the US for a few days and contemplating a late night Wawa run. It's been a bit since I've lived in Wawa country, Cheesesteak and/or Italian Hoagie are probably the optimal plays, yes? Also, the sides at Wawa are nothing special so I assume I shouldn't save room for them, correct me if wrong.

Awful dang brave eating that thing in a car. Was the 5 mega meat stack any good?

I got a couple Arbynator's a couple weeks ago and didn't like the red sauce (horsey sauce?) so won't get any of those again.

Wawa chicken salad sub w/ provolone and Italian seasoning is always a GoTo of mine. Sometimes I add miracle whip. Pizza Cheesesteak and Pizza Chicken Cheesesteak (add pepperoni) is an expert play of mine. Anytime I drive an hour or so away to see my mom I get two of any of the three above. Sometimes a honey smoked turkey & white American sub hits the spot too. Wawa takes me back to childhood.

Great advice all around. Now that you mention it I have indeed had the Wawa chicken salad and enjoyed it Thanks gambone as well, I wasn't in the mood for a gobbler tonight but I've heard great things about it.

Decided on two cheesesteaks, one Foatie style (pizza cheesesteak: tomato sauce, parmesan, provolone, pepperoni) and one JoeC style (extra American cheese, caramelized onions, jalapenos). Pics below!

Also Foatie, bummer you have to commute so long for Wawa. You're in Northern VA right? I used to go to the Wawa by Potomac Mills a lot on business trips, but depending on where you're at that might be pretty far from you.

Wawa mashed potatoes are pretty good as is the bacon mac and cheese. I'd assume the bacon and mashed potatoes would be good too.

I had the $5 pulled chicken sandwich from Royal Farms today. It was very good. You get to choose between white and dark meat which was a nice touch. I also chose a potato roll with provolone. Kind of small for $5 (wawa has the $5 classic hoagies right now for comparison) but still a very good sandwich.

Royal Farms also has $1,$2,$3 western fries. The $1 fries $1 huge fountain soda and $5 sandwich for $7 isn't terrible value.

One last piece of cheesesteak porn before I leave Philly, this from Spataro's in Reading Terminal. Simple steak/cheez whiz/onions combo. Breakfast of champions IMO.

8pc chicken at royal farms is great for 8 bucks. The guy said he didn't have wings are drumsticks, so instead got 5 thighs and 3 breasts for a bargain. Having wawa and royal farms close is great.

So last night I went inside a Wendy’s to ask if I could use two app deals in the same order, and if they didn’t let me I would just use one in the drive thru after, but to my surprise they allowed me so I got 2 spicy chickens and the $5 Dave’s double meal. Everything was close to peak Wendy’s quality and the food came out in less than a minute...on top of everything else, she didn’t even knock the offers off of the app. Truly an experience I can’t imagine being topped any time soon.
