Einstein bros "Nova Lox" -- sesame bagel with salmon/cream cheese/purple onion/capers was way better than expected for $6.99, I thought the menu said I was getting a pickle too but whatever.

It would be funny to me if the "toasted corn" (plain) Doritos weren't just the chip without whatever cheese/cool ranch/pick your flavor dust on it, but had some kind of toasted corn flavor dust on them.

Yeah, the taco ones are a good time. Transport me right back to 1971, a heady time. Not only are they great, they get me to appreciate the nacho cheese more when I go back.

Taco flavored Doritos and bean dip make a good meal.

OK I'm the guy. I've been to 63 of 69. I think the biggest mistake in the list is Portillo's at 24 should be easy top 10. Cookout is also high based only on food. Their eliteness comes from side options which you get two. Instead of fries or rings you can get a corn dog and quesadilla. Pair that with one of there shakes and you can have a "burger" combo with the three above items all for around 7 bucks.

Certainly the one in Barbados, probably the vegetarian one, Arthur Treacher’s is a guess as I’ve only seen one in my hometown mall 25+ years ago...

Went to EPL the other day and was disappointed that they no longer have the corn cobbette, one of the all-time great sides. The chicken is still pretty good though.

Cookout was really the OG of "put a bunch of food in a box and sell it for $5".

IMO pro move is to opt for the BBQ sandwich over the burger, which as you mentioned isn't really anything special.

My TB has switched the $5 box nachos for the cinnamon crispy thing. I liked the nachos.

Chicken sandwich. Big fan of Carl’s spicy chicken though this one was not one of their best efforts.

That carls 5 box is the best deal in the FF game at the moment, also a huge fan of their spicy chicken.

You can get that spicy chicken sammich by itself for about a buck and a half. It's a lot bigger than the cheap spicy chickens from Mickeys or BK.

Did a panic hungry turn into McDonald's earlier tonight. This one in POR had no value menu or "2 for X" or anything. I asked the person if they still had a value menu or those 2 for $5 type deals and she said "No sir, not for a long time." I'm pretty sure they did at this very location last week when I got the worst McD breakfast I've ever had. I panic ordered McNuggets without even specifying a size, because their menu is unbelievably poorly laid out. Ten piece for $4.59. After she listed off the sauces I asked for sriracha and something else I hadn't had (both were included in her provided options), was informed when I got to the window that they have "ketchup and barbecue." Cliff notes is that McDonalds ****ing sucks.

EDIT: Forgot to add that three of the nuggets were really hot and the rest were not. How is that not disturbing?

I think every time I've brought back a screwed up order to TB, probably like 4 times in the past five years, they've offered me those cinnamon twists or some other disgusting dessert they have and I've declined. No one wants that ****.

Turn of the millenium spicy chickens at Carls were extraordinary, and theyre still better than the rest of their comparisons.

I went to Bk tonight, got a Whopper, chicken jr, fries, small Dr. Pepper and one fat ****ing Dr. Pepper, and it was all particularly good. Will be eating more whoppers in the future.
