Tangent re bolded: I was working at Harrah's/Harveys in Tahoe ~2010 and we had Guy Fieri come in and do a stage act for us. I was super skeptical, but he absolutely killed it on stage. Crazy good energy, funny, crowd was super into it - I was very surprised how much I ended up enjoying the show. I normally think he's downright boring on DD&D, but thought he was great on stage. (In comparison, I loved Man vs. Food and thought Adam Richman was super talented/entertaining. But, I heard they brought Adam in for a stage show the year after I left Tahoe and heard it was a terribly boring show. Different skills sets.)
