Unrelated: Went to a McDonalds today. They must have had an unadvertised 2/$5 because the total was $5 plus tax for 2 Big Macs. App offer still saved me 91 cents beyond that tho.

The Big JBC wasn't going on at my Wendy's. Out of respect I went with the Son of Baconator Combo & a 10pc Nuggets. The same amount of bacon as the Baconator comes on the Son of Baconator for the perfect beef/bacon/cheese ratio. Everything was perfect. Wendy's is perfect.

I went to Wendy's tonight and only found out about the big JBC afterwards. I looked for a 4 for $4 sign and didnt see that nor a Big JBC $5 meal sign either.

I'm def inquiring when I head back there.

Edit: I looked closer at the photo I took of the menu and they had the 4 for $4 deal listed below the Right Price Right Size section. Which makes me think they don't have a Big JBC $5 meal which would be type disappoint.

Between this and Bighurt's Wendy's pic - is snapping a pic of the drive-thru menu standard? Is this for later analysis of savings or to haggle up front on the bill when presented?

I took a pic of the menu so I could zoom in on the prices (I was inside and they were on the small side). And yes this allows for future analysis.

Tried this last night. Sandwiches were like $6-7. Fries $3-4 plain vs specialty.

Went with beef and cheese, add horseradish sauce. Wanted to try and replicate an Arby's beef and cheddar with horsey and Arby's sauce experience. Also added extra beef for $1. No idea how much that added, might have to try a side by side to evaluate value. We got one regular and one gravy fries.



They don't have a horsey sauce equivalent out as a condiment, but they do have minced horseradish so that's pretty cool. The round sauce is similar to Arby's sauce, but a little less tangy. Kinda like a sweeter A-1 sauce. Very good.



Sandwich was A+ tasting, excellent roast beef and cheese sauce. But a little on the small side. The fries were terrible. I expect curly fries to be coated and crispy, but these were limp and lacking in flavor. The gravy fries gravy and big chunks of meat at least salvaged that dish from the weak fries.



Very little horseradish flavor in the sandwich, so I took off the bun to coat it with horseradish. Added extra round sauce too. Def a decent pile of meat there.



Overall happy with this meal, and will prob try it again sometime when I'm nearby, but not something I'll be making a special trip for.

JITB mocha-flavored ice coffee. A little overpriced at $2.99 for a large, but its quite tasty - almost like chocolate milk. Plus I get them back a little with a $1.39 Chicken Sandwich w/ complimentary tomato and house sauce.

They've been 2 for $3 at my local McDonalds for the entirety of 2017.

Upon further review, I think you're correct that the breading is thicker this go around. Not gross af, however.

ReviewBrah is almost always on point. Still a bit scared to try that BK Rodeo King that he liked though.

I've watched more ReviewBrah's than I'd care to admit, and I find him completely endearing and I think it's great that he's found this niche for himself. He could just as easily be bagging groceries for 30 years at the local Publix, and I mean that in the best way possible. I'm legit happy for him.
