Jack,

I just ordered it with no special instructions, but it was pretty late and it seemed like everyone's stuff was being made to order (i.e. they didn't have like a stack of wrapped burgers ready to go).

during my poor college days at UO a splurge was to walk across Franklin Blvd to the Wendy's and order chili and a baked potato and mix them up. you know about Wendy's hot chili seasoning, right?

got me curious about merging the jr. deluxe cheeseburger comment with the shakes comment, so i had to do some research. nothing quite like booking +4k calories and 250g of fat in a single sitting.

i'm willing to pony up $50 legal tender us american dollars to anyone that is willing to consume five jr. deluxe cheeseburgers and either one of those two ice cream concoctions within 30 minutes. we can negotiate the details once someone shows a little bit of interest. video documentation is required, ldo. if you're successful, i will also pick up the tab for your food if you provide a receipt. i don't care if the burgers are on special.

Id try it if there was a sonic near me

It'd take me 60 minutes.

And I'd prolly end up eating both those ice cream things.

Good thing the nearest Sonic is 20+ miles away.

Ya that's super easy, the ice cream will just melt into all the crevices and not really take up much space at all. 10 of those cheeseburgers is a thread worthy challenge though. Just go with a friend and get them to buy 5 also. I'd try either one if there was a sonic nearby. Think I'd be close to 100% with the ice cream and probably less than 50% with the 10 burgers.

Lol at 5 even being a slight challenge.

Sonic's shakes come out like concrete. You need to let them sit 15 minutes before they are any where close to drinkable.. Even then there you still need quite a bit of effort to get it flowing. So it's not like it's gonna be a soupy mess that you can just suck down quickly. The large is pretty big. That's a lot of Ice cream. I think 5 of those cheeseburgers and one of the large shakes is plenty for a daunting challenge as long as the person isn't a competitive eater. If anything if it sounds too easy lower the time to 10 or 15 minutes.

How about a minute per item then? 6 minutes total to plow through all of it. Challenging now?

The speed (less than 30 mins) probably makes it much harder as I would get a massive cold headache and quit from that.

Much more of one, yes. I think if you make it 10 minutes it becomes easy again.

Congrats on the free meal plus $50!

I'm impressed that people would think this was easy, even when I was significantly fatter this seems like a pretty huge amount of food in one sitting.

Yeah I think more burgers or more shake without a mix of both would be tougher. Dairy can be quite difficult

People in this thread think everything is easy but everyone failed at any reasonable challenge

Not quite fast food but here's a similar challenge

http://www.chickandruths.com/ate.html

I've attempted the 6 pound shake and 1 pound burger challenge. I came up about 10% shy on the shake.

I think this sonic challenge is probably easier but it's got a lot more bread and the food isn't as good so I bet it would be tough.

I could not do that Sonic challenge and I'm 99% sure a SIX POUND shake would make me throw up at some point.

For reference, McDonald's double cheeseburger is 430 cals. I feel like five of those plus a large milkshake would be pretty easy

5 double cheeseburgers is a lot of goddamn food

Optimal Wendy's order is either baconator or spicy chicken sandwich, a variable amount of jbcs and a frosty (fries dipped in it if you're feeling it)

If it didn't it would probably kill you. How did someone come up with a 6 pound shake? Do they serve it in a paint bucket?
