Well, it's not like they plan it. They just hardly ever go there, it's usually some late night drive home from the airport or something. For some reason when they do, and I talk to my mom on the phone, she always tells me about how dad felt sick after eating his QPC. I love my dad, but his discomfort from a burger he keeps ordering cracks me up every time.

I went to D&B a couple times in grad school. It's kind of fun to once in a while get beered up and play video games and pop-a-shot as an adult. That sounds like a good deal if you like their wings.

Mcdoubles also have the worst bun in the fast food game (doesn't stop me from ordering them though). They use the stale buns from the full price dinky items.

Big mac buns are fine.

I had Wendy's today, which I am very grateful for of course.

I had 10 spicy nuggets and got Ranch + Sriracha sauces.

I've had the sriracha before a few times but today it occurred to me that although I'm a big fan of the spice, it's too creamy. I would prefer to just enjoy the kick, without all that cream flavor.

Fwiw, I'm a big fan of their ranch.

Rest of meal:

Classic Double - super fresh
Value fries - a very good amount of fries for $0.99 and they were excellent

Just had my first Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger. While the taste was good, it seems horrid value at $8.64 for a small combo.

Additionally, I didn't get a straw for my drink or my gift card back. $6.36 forfeited.

not sure about the loaded griller side of the equation, but i completely agree with the mouthful of TB sour cream statement. it just isn't good and everything that normally comes with it is better without it.

That Taco Bell lasagna looks like prison slop.

However, TB is supposed to announce a mind-blowing game-changing new product during the Super Bowl. I am cautiously optimistic it will be something awesome.

McMuffin price update: My local McD's still has the sausage mcmuffin for $1, but with egg it's $3.19. Someone figure out how to game this already.

the best defense to the egg gouging is to use the BOGO coupon from the receipts. at least hear u can use the BOGO for the egg mcmuffins, maybe not other places?
