I used to think Cookout was good. Now I'm on the fence. Milkshakes still elite tho.

I don't live in cookout country, but it's been a must-stop every time I drive through the Carolinas.

I enjoy getting a ton of food for $7, but I can definitely see it being the type of place that gets old pretty quickly.

When Rube Goldberg is hungry for an egg mcmuffin, he makes it on that.

You can buy them from your car at their "drive-thru window". You can also get their delicious chicken sandwiches that way.

You thought they gave them away at church functions?

toasted english muffin, add a couple of slices of canadian bacon to each side after heating the bacon up in a pan, and top each half with an over easy egg fried in the bacon fat and butter. serve open face and use a knife and fork to eat. takes less than 10 minutes to make and so so good. next time i have some slices of good cheddar i might add them but i'm not convinced it will make things better in this particular situation.
cheese will definitely make it better, that's my standard weekend breakfast but I use real bacon and poached eggs

You just throw it away, no need to clean.

The egg muffin makers are easy to use and clean. Only downfall is English muffin only gets toasted on the outside

do not get the mozzerella cheese sticks at mcdonalds. they are quite possibly the worst item i've ever eaten there. and at $1.19 for 3, are a horrible value as well.

Yeah they're very bad.

Not sure what you mean with the second part though. If they were good that would be an excellent price for them.

I tried the mozzarella sticks today I thought they were OK. I've certainly had more expensive and worse ones. At 1.29 here I thought they were pretty decent.

Then again I generally like mozzarella sticks quite a bit.

Had Taco Bell tonight, it was delicious. Mexican pizza meal + shredded chicken burrito, all items fresh.

How do the McDonald's mozzarella sticks compare to Burger King's mozzarella sticks?

My guess is they taste quite similar going in or coming out

A minor tragedy on my side of town. When Backyard Burger went into bankruptcy many of the stores changed over to Churches Fried Chicken, including the store nearest my work. CFC originated where I grew up, in south Texas, and as an Air Force family, we couldn't afford KFC, but I've always thought CFC was way better anyway. CFC biscuits are way ahead of the cardboard paper stuff at KFC, you can get jalapenos to squeeze out over your chicken, great crinkle fries, and the best of all, fried okra. Great deep fried chicken, forget Slim Chickens or Chick fil A, thats not real chicken.

Anyways, apparently as they came out of bankruptcy they still owned the stores sites in some areas, they kicked out my CFC and made it another BYB all in about a week. Crap.

TB crunchwrap sliders are solid value for $1. The sriracha chicken is killer.

I hit up Taco Bell again tonight because it was great last time. I just wanted a nachos supreme and a bean burrito. Of course right before I get in the drive through line someone sneaks in in front of me, one of those Lexus SUVs. When I got up to the menu this woman's total was still on the screen and it was something like $48.67. How do you spend almost $50 at Taco Bell? That must be some kind of record. As far as I could tell she was the only one in the car.
