A fair amount of people here would just rather choke themselves out.

I enjoyed the gimmick of getting dvds in the mail. I'd probably still not mind it without the pandemic.

12 Cd's for a penny and had to buy 1 at regular price of like $8-$12 I think, then 1 a month at that price but could just cancel and get 13 for like $10. lol

I can remember how happy I was when that box came in the snail mail.

4 episodes into The Serpent and holy crap does it get dark. Series about a real life killer who preyed on tourists in 1970's Bangkok.

6 years ago i remember I got blasted by all the dumb ass posters who are absolutely stupid for calling me a troll acct whe I said all netflix seems to be good for is tv shows since there's hardly any movies or new movies coming out. and all i was seeing are tv shows. this was 6 years ago and it seems tehy doubled down on the tv series stuff bvetter or worse.

I say that since there was a period where everyone was bitching about ho wmany shows netflix was adding a few years and ago and their movie content was "drying up"

Who Killed Sara is not good but I'm watching it. Watching the dubbed version which makes is laughably bad. Would probably be better in Spanish with subtitles. Only 4 eps in so far.

Don't watch the "Paradise PD" series, it's not funny.

I thought it was hilarious. There’s about a 100 jokes in a 30 minute episode. Some of them good, some of them bad.

I'm only 1 episode in and it's already dark. Good so far, though.

I go with the subtitles on movies, but figured I'd give the dubbing a shot for some of the series(lupin, money heist). I can't do it.

The dubbing isn't bad for the most part, but something about the tone is just off for me. 1000% prefer the subtitles.

Apparently you need absolutely zero skill to be hired as a voice actor for dubbing, because they are always ****ing atrocious. You can't even have that crap as background noise it's so jarringly bad

I feel like they use one female voice actor and one male and have them do all the characters for that show

I'm currently forced to watch The Bridge dubbed, at least it's well done in this case. But for Gösta the dubbing was rather terrible and I'm sure it took plenty away - still a fun, low-budget show.

I'm watching Dark and started off watching the subtitled version per everyone's rec here. I just prefer to watch the actors faces and I always try to be tuned in to all the background stuff in a scene. So I've gone to the dubbed version. It's perfectly fine, maybe not the greatest voices in the world but I'm not watching for the voices. I did a little back and forth to make sure that what they were saying was the exact same thing that was written in the subtitles and it was. So, in conclusion, F all you guys saying I have to watch it with subtitles.
