Yes Daria from BnB and The Simpsons from the Tracy Ullman Show.
ahhh gotcha....I wouldn't consider the simpsons a spin off tho since it was a sketch comedy show.

A fun fact is that Happy Days was also a spinoff.

I watched all those shows back in the day. All in the Family was the best back then because it was edgy and stuff that was never on TV before, and of course Archie was hilarious.

Laverne and Shirley and Mork and Mindy were the worst of them being so goofy. But I still watched.

You mean they didn't have an openly racist wife beater on tv before?

So edgy.

Exactly, lol. He never beat his wife tho.
Edgy was not the word I was looking for.

I might be the only person in the world that enjoyed Caprica, the Battlestar Galactica spinoff and that was disappointed with its cancellation... And yes, I also enjoyed GOT's final season, The Sopranos ending, SGU and so on...

Agreed on Caprica. First thing NBC did when they acquired SyFy was to cancel it.

NBC wouldn't recognize good SciFi if it bit them, as proved by the WOAT SciFi show in TV history, The Event. Though their current entry Debris might actually be worse.

Debris sucks, as does Manifest. But I bailed on Manifest in the 1st season. I might try it again in a few weeks(New season 3) and see if it got any better.

Caprica had a lot of amazing ideas. Would have been cool to see where it went.

Cool, perhaps I wasn't the only Caprica lover walking the planet then!!! The Stargate Universe cancellation hurt me more though, and perhaps the most of any show...

Wow, I had to look this one up. "Love, American Style." I remember the show and it reminds me of the theme song. I guess some tv shows still do long opening credits, but back in the day, opening theme songs might be over a minute long.

"The Rockford Files" might be my favorite instrumental theme song (or "Matlock" and the "Barnaby Jones" theme was bad ass). But my all time favorite opening/closing credits was for "Making It" and is almost 2 minutes long. And yes that is John Travolta's sister Ellen Travolta in the credits.

Another great reboot in the works I'll tell you what. Anyone who disagrees probably gets their propane from Fatherton Fuels.

if you can overlook some of the loltastically bad plot holes, it is super enjoyable. I've been debating a rewatch, but I'm still pissed it wasn't renewed.

Never watched a minute of Caprica, but I didn't like the remade BSG (only watched 1st couple of episodes) so they had a tough row to hoe with me.

Regarding WOAT scifi entries, Under the Dome stands out as a particularly bad, errr, stand out.

Watched "The Last Blockbuster". Fun nostalgia trip for us older folks who remember going to the video store on a Friday night to pick out movies.

Kind of ironic that a documentary about the demise of the video rental store is on Netflix though.

I have such great memories of having my best friend sleep over on a Friday night and going to blockbuster to pick out some movies n staying up late watching ridic horror movies in the living room before falling asleep on the couch.

we would spend forever browsing the shelves in blockbuster while my dad sat out in the car reading the funny times.
