Came here to basically say this. What an awesome first episode. My favorite part, besides the obvious is

Spoiler:
how Robin Wright takes the news, like she had guessed it was going to happen, like FU has done it before and she's been there, done that

He had a third one (his first special) on their last year, but it was taken off. Check that one out also if you can find it.

It's on YouTube. If it's the one I'm thinking of it's his best special imo

If you like Bill Burr, you should YouTube the routine he did in Philadelphia. They boo him as soon as he hits the stage so he spends like 20 minutes just ripping the city to shreds.

I'm in the same boat as you. I enjoy it, although it's not nearly as good as many people are saying.

Yes. I hate politics and found Season 1 very enjoyable. I haven't started S2 yet, but will very shortly.

ya his 1st special is "why do i do this" which is also fantastic, i just didn't mention it since its not on netflix instant.
tho i think each of his specials improve so i'd rank them:

why do i do this
let it go
you people are all the same

i've also seen him live doing completely diff material and he just kills it. his podcast is also hilarious.
def one of the funniest people alive.

jim jeffries also has a special on youtube and its hilarious as well (he's also absolutely hilarious).

this is legendary within the stand up community.
its so great, they go from booing him to cheering him by the end he's so good.
he's just a master.

The 3 best guys doing comedy right now imo are Louie CK, Bill Burr and Jim Jeffries. In no particular order.

Jim Jeffries has a great special called Fully Functional on NF right now.

In all my years watching big screen movies and TV shows, I don't ever recall saying out loud, Oh My God!

That moment shocked the **** out of me.

just watched hard eight, baffled how anyone could think this. i suppose you guys would randomly go up to a broke-looking complete stranger sitting outside a diner and decide to make him your protege. pbh's motivations for doing so were never a question for you? i was watching it and thinking, "why the hell's he helping this guy?" john c. reilly was clearly asking himself the same thing: he's so suspicious of pbh during that initial meeting that he repeatedly says he's not gay and that he'd **** pbh up if he tried anything.

what you guys felt didn't make narrative sense and came out of nowhere actually resolved a huge question mark established in the very first scene of the movie.
