A quick google search says that they stopped giving free beer in 2009. Now there is really no reason to go.

Glad I got in when the getting was good.

Yeah just read that. Ruined the movie for me. So it's Blair Witch, but with burglars.

Either way I enjoyed it. I used to be a not very good person and parts of that movie really reminded me of that and came close to giving me a full on panic attack, though I had the same reaction to The Score.

Just started Foyle's War, British detective series set during World War II. Watched the first two episodes and they were pretty good. Each episodes is self contained, so if you watch the first one you know what you are getting into without spending too much time.

meh. The director is also the main actor. I don't think it's much of a spoiler.

Thanks all for the Blackfish rec... really enjoyed it, and I'll add another recommendation to those who haven't seen it yet.

What sequence are you referring to? You can PM me if you don't wanna spoil.

Just watched Blackfish and I definitely recommend it.

Spoiler:
When the trainer kept getting pulled under by the Orca. Any other human probably would have died. That man was a ****ing champion, holding his breath, staying calm and escaping with minimal injuries considering the situation.

+1 to Ron-Tiki. Had never heard of this story and knew nothing of the history of Polynesia, was highly recommended to me by netflix, would have watched it long ago if I knew it was a true story.

Shark scenes were the best, high suspenseful.

Any fans of the Damien Lewis series Life? Thinking of giving it a shot.

I liked it a lot. Some of the episodes are a bit slow/boring but the overall arc is nice, Sarah Shahi is very nice, and the ending is amazing imo.

I enjoyed Rescue Me for the most part. I did find that the tone of the show was a bit inconsistent. To the point that it became distracting. I like dark comedies but RM got progressively wackier and more absurd as the seasons went on. And I kind of got sick of Tommy Gavin after a while. Callie Thorne is a hot sexy milf, though...

Really enjoyable, and provided some good life lessons for our 7 year old about how to behave when under stress and how to always try your best.

Rated PG as far as we could tell only because a parent yells "GD it" at one point.

I recommend this doc.
As the parent of a 7 year old, I will check this out. Thanks!

Loved it. Very disappointed when the show went away so quickly. Lewis was great in it -

If you like snowboard/ski stuff, The Art of Flight is a movie and also a series which is kind of a documentary on the filming of the movie. I enjoyed them.

It's not a good show by any means. It is beyond ridiculous. But I was entertained enough to watch the whole season fwiw.
