LHOTL is an odd movie. For the msot part, the story, the revenge, everything about it is top notch.
But the rape scene is over the top and overlong, and isn't something I can watch more than once. It destroys the rewatchability for me, and was much much better done in the 2000 era remake (forget the exact date). Put that scene into the rest of the movie from the 70's and you have a very very good movie. But for the rape scene alone, its very difficult to ever watch more than once.
