I was really surprised when S2 of this was announced. Finished the first one, and while it was alright, I don’t think it’s quite worthy of Cranston and Stuhlbarg.

Stumbled across a David Lynch short film on Netflix called "What Did Jack Do?". I'm a huge Lynch fan but had never even heard of this. It's 17 minutes long and was made in 2017 apparently. Anyway if you like Lynch and/or monkeys who talk and sing songs about their love affair with a chicken... this one's for you.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Maverick. Fun movie, good sequel despite LOL that a mothballed F-14 could even survive 2 minutes vs gen 5 fighters. But in the class of Godfather II or Aliens? IMO not even close.

Good movie, but as a fan of Pitch Meeting on youtube it is hilarious how obvious it is they copied star wars.

I also liked Hackman in Heist. The reviews were worst than Enemy of the State, but I enjoyed it and the cast was great:

Really liking Break Point on Netflix. Follows some top and near top-tier tennis pros across a handful of tournaments. I think it would be compelling even if you're not a tennis fan.

Its a well made show, made by the same people who did Drive To Survive, the F1 docuseries.

Right off the bat in the first episode, they felt the need to explain the basic scoring system of tennis, so that should tell you all you need to know about who the target audience is.

I think the show accomplishes what it was trying to do. Their choices of WTA players to follow were great. The ATP players not so much (just dbags or dial tones with nothing to say).

Feel like the Drive to Survive team should do a series on the Premier League. I'd watch that.

Saw the first ep of Break Point, well done from a technical standpoint but not much drama. Doubles just doesn't have the excitement factor of singles. I get tired of Kyrgios' antics but I'll admit he makes for interesting TV. His girlfriend seemed nice. Dealing with his moods must be trying. Didn't his previous girlfriend accuse him of domestic abuse? Completely ignored that on the episode.
