So if you bumped into a button that had a 0.3% chance of giving you HIV you wouldn't sweat it or be concerned at all?

not to be a dick or anything, but it sounds like sister didnt tell brother or parents that there is just a veeeeeeeeeery small possibility that she will be infected? i dont get that, thats why i dont believe op

Not to be a dick or anything, but multiple people in this thread explained to the OP about the small risk of infection as well as the fairly good standard of living now experienced by infected individuals receiving good medical treament - and the OP still didn't seem to get that.

This happened to my brother(I think, IDK maybe it was a dream, I get confused sometimes), he got pricked by a needle on the job, he's a fireman and was also a paramedic and it was the same sort of scenario. The drugs they give you asap kill those little buggers good but of course there's always going be a sweat.
