I've made some friends here, I keep running into them. if it's not one person it's another.

Babs,

That's great. However, remember that people who enable you (for example bring you coke) aren't real friends.

Beast,

It might be time to change your official occupation from professional sports bettor to professional gambler.

The negativity is for several reasons but the reason that people are negative on the financial outlook of this trip is that you are chasing losses in the pits. You said you wouldn't do this and broke that promise within a few hours of arriving in Reno.

You're a guaranteed loser in the pits (even you know this). Hit and running is not a viable strategy, it will result in you winning small amounts frequently and occasionally losing large ones (like when you dropped 800 at BJ and 400 at pai gow before getting bailed out by the corner seat).

I mean this is on top of the fact that you're a losing sports bettor, but at least your money will last longer at the books than in the pits.

How am I a losing sports bettor?

Your family needs to stop.

You've gotta learn to shut it

These penetrates look at one bad day like yesterday, instead of considering years of positive results.

Full slate tonight, the book is going down.

Bro he can buy the best lawyer and he has no criminal record. California prisons also completely full. Zero chance he gets busted selling coke and gets more than probation for a few yrs

+1 dexter, what a fkn degenerate. Ironic thing is he would be better off just selling coke and never making another wager in his life

I witnessed someone's existence end last night at the blackjack

they were trying to build a 21
08-14-2015 , 08:18 AM
I just sent tak a text stating

"consider your crevice already penetrated"
08-14-2015 , 08:24 AM
And fwiw im like 55% pro beast so im mildly more in favor of him than completely neutral. Its interesting because i really dont wish to see anybody fail, but with a beast i think failure is the perhaps the best outcome for him re: personal growth and improving his self awareness and emotional intelligence. Dude has a legit gambling problem and badly needs a wakeup call so he can move on w his life
08-14-2015 , 08:25 AM
why not join the winning side and be 100% for the beast

why are there so many people here who want me to lose

bunch of haters

The people who are taking you to task over playing pit games and want you to concentrate on MLB are not haters and don't want you to lose.

You know you can't beat the pit, that's why you swore off those games so many times. But if we remind you of what you said we're 'haters'. JFC dude get some perspective.
08-14-2015 , 08:48 AM
I only randalled them and was forced to build a 21 because I lost in the book.

today I hammer the book so there will be no need for building 21s
08-14-2015 , 08:50 AM
Oh, so the only time you go to the pits is to chase sportsbook losses. Forget everything, that's an elite strategy that all the best sports bettors use. No downside at all.

You're saying that if you lose in the book, you can always make it back playing blackjack?

Okay, I'll take all the guilt, lol. I noticed that I didn't mention to anyone yesterday that I put cash in an envelop and mailed it to a stranger, they'd think I was finally losing it.

I'm not Howard, but I don't feel that I am enabling anyone. The Beast's belief that he can win over time is very interesting to me and I would love to see it happen. For most of my twenties and thirties, people told me that my obsession with buying houses would destroy my life. I felt compelled to buy them even when I was well past being able to afford them, but that's how I felt fulfilled.

I believe in going for it, even when everyone else says you're crazy. If he doesn't make it, he needs to calmly reassess and go back to a regular job, knowing that at least he tried.

This story will not be like Brandi, because he can always go back to his condo in California and have a life that most people in the world dream about. (Even if it means working a boring 9 to 5.) Beast's life will be good, although there might be a little pain in there before he finds it. (That's probably true for many of you.)
