The real negativity is his complete lack of confidence in his MLB betting abilities. At least he's finally admitting all he's doing is guessing and praying. If he actually had any capping skill, one result would not impact his plans in any way. Still a little surprised to see him this scared, though. Maybe he'll find some courage and get a sweet live bet on my team, the SF Giants.

The thing with emo rage-quits is that I always assume that people do those in hopes of getting people to beg them to stay. Obviously Babs never, ever gets that reaction though, so I still don't get what he is even attempting to accomplish with them.

Anyway, like Diablo I'm definitely surprised that Babs is admitting total defeat as a sports bettor over this one loss tonight. But obviously it's better for his bottom line that he do it now.

If he quits today he gets to skip out on $400 in money he owes or will owe.

As for his admission, I think he realized when he tried his absolute hardest at the MLB contest and still was down 40-50 units. I think that opened his eyes to how bad he is at this.

He owes Howard $100 for the June bet he lost to me. He owes banned $50 for HCIV? He'll owe me the non-escrowed $50 of our MLB sidebet, and he'll owe 5850 $200. So that's $400 he obv wouldn't pay if he quit today.

He owes $50 that I vouched for on HCIV, $100 he owes Howard for June El D matchup, $50( I have 50 in escrow) for El D MLB sidebet and $200 for 5850 MLB sidebet. I think that covers it all. I don't think he'll welch on them though.
