I'm no expert, but I would always spell the singular as "whiskey" and the plural as "whiskeys." I might even interpret "whisky" as an adjective describing the quality of being whisk-like, as in a kitchen tool or a small broom.

Goddamned El D, trolling again.

Someone please tell me the difference between "whiskey" and "whisky" if there is one, and "whiskeys" and "whiskies." And no more of this ducking and bobbing and weaving, like y'all did when I asked about loosening the belt!

Howard,

Whisky is how you spell Scotch (and Canadian I believe) whisky. Whiskey is how you spell other stuff like American and Irish whiskey. A common convention is to pluralize the former as whiskies and the latter as whiskeys.

Whiskey refers to whiskeys distilled in Ireland and the United States. Whisky, on the other hand, is generally used for whiskies distilled in Scotland, Wales, Canada, Japan and other countries.
