Smashed at the moment after works Christmas party, but wanting to say that nominations are closing in little over twenty-four hours and some of the people mentioned in post 498 as lacking pics have got tons of seconds but are still not validly nominated as they don't have pics posted. If the legions of seconders want to see Ariana Grande, Emilia Clarke, Hyun-ah and Nathalie Emmanuelle in this then they need to post OP-able pics to get them properly nominated. OPs can contain 4 pics but candidates with only 3 can compete with that handicap. Hopefuls with only 2 pics or less are not considered to be entered.

Generally I'm counting seconds as where someone says +1 or "seconded" etc.

Here is the seeding system and structure I'm planning to use. Nominations close in just over 7 hours. I'll try to press on with the repechage rounds as soon as I get it all sorted out so we can get the actual rounds of Ms. OOT 2018 underway in 2018 itself. Each repechage round sends four into the main competition, but to promote a bit of diversity we will still only have 2 votes each in them - so they don't get locked up by a slate of 4 clones.

Anyone who didn't get out their group in 2016 is automatically in repechage regardless of number of nominations.
Seeding positions 1-16 alternate between being based on number of nominations and position reached in 2016 (people who reached last 16 only). In other words, seed 1 is the candidate with most noms, seed 2 is the loser from 2016 (i.e. Robbie), seed 3 is next most noms and so on. I haven't seconded people myself but I have the casting vote to break ties (with the exception if I've nominated them myself I've already voted so they are behind the others)
Further seeding based on positions in the 4 repechage rounds held over the Christmas holidays.
Seeds 17-20 are the winners of the repechage rounds ordered by votes cast for them, seeds 21-24 are the second places from repechage and so on. Repechage groups determined based on alphabetical order.

It doesn't work on the principle that you post names and I go and find photos of the girl in question.

Hailee Steinfeld is one photo short if people want her in, though she might be a stronger nominee next year when she's a year older.
