lol I don't read the Brexit thread. Let's just say that a quick browsing of his posts in that thread arguing the dictionary definition of racism/etc. because Muslim is a religion have me pretty dubious about his free university claim.

Not that I know of, though I kinda feel like he's either lurking or posting under a gimmick. I have no proof of that though.

The rules are not being abused. If OOT posters meet the initial voting eligibility requirements, they should obviously be allowed to vote, even if they are also [other forum] posters or have more posts in other forums. Anything other than that is immoral disenfranchisement which is asinine, ahistorical, and anti-OOT.
But didn't LektorAJ start with the rules from last year's contest - which gave him a broad power to decide which voters were ineligible due to trolling, etc?

Re: Ms. OOT 2018 Discussion thread.

Mullen,

If voters needed to have 10 OOT posts in the last year, I donít see any good reason to have changed things.

However, if the lobbying brought votes from long-dormant OOT poster accounts vs actual current OOT participants, then I agree with making a change and requiring some level of recent active participation in OOT.

I donít think lektor should be blamed for not thinking of all possible scenarios in advance.

Dormant posters should be encouraged to return and participate lest this form turn into another EDF

Yes, and I'm confident I would proceed in exactly the same way in that situation as I am now.

There are people ITT who have a problem with AOC because of her politics. I'm not one of them.

Became a farce at the very stage that AOC got through the repecharge. If you go back to the thread itself you will see comments in there talking about how much of a trivial thing their vote was and an expectation that she wouldn't get past the next round.

No - I think I've said this hundred times already but for the record I couldn't care less and base my vote on beauty and where quite even relevance.

AOC doesn't even get to that stage of being in the picture for me to decide on her relevance to get her through as she just isn't good looking.

She is a 4/10 and maybe a 5/10 with makeup but that is provided she is pictured in such a way as to hide that horse mouth of hers.

My theory: Lector is a Politics plant, sent to bring discord from within OTT. Antifa sweeps in and claims victory. Soon we have bbq Parrot as a warning for the upper management to surrender and share those sweet, sweet Slansky bucks with the Forum.

This is a fairly juvenile response. You can do better and often have in the past.

As for me, I think bundyís posting is usually poor, and I think AOC is quite attractive. I voted for her because she is more attractive and interesting than Rachel Riley, despite the fact that I dislike many of her views. I donít carry around a political litmus testing kit either for voting here or keeping friends.

I do think itís fair for Lektor to try to control the obvious politics trolling that is going on.

What would you do with a guy like +rep, who is often a very aggressive and very political poster who was contained within OOT and then essentially banned himself from OOT over a year ago and came back only to vote for AOC? He would seem to be a Boaty McBoatface voter here. So too with the people who accuse Lektor and others of racism ó itís obviously stupid political trolling. What do you think the right answer is as to those folks?

If lolrep was ever going to show his face in the containment thread, now would be a good time as I am about to ban him into bolivia for an extended stay.

Re: Ms. OOT 2018 Discussion thread.

Well, hopefully without getting political and getting banned I'd say that Lektor's posts refuting Muslim hate as not racist because "Muslim is a religion" is what we on this site call a tell.

You guys get way too worked up about rep. Especially you (howard) whom I've never seen really hate anyone. Dude justs gets aggressive online. GREER and Thremp though are like legends somehow for years and years of ****ting on everyone they can.

See: banning rep for voting on a poll about hot women is so lol.
