as far as Mods

Dids was asked numerous times to Mod again, in a heartbeat , if he wanted I would take him back. Less any one thinks he did a bad job but for the 1/20th of personal judgement calls he made and thus locked what some might consider a good thread the other times hes was spot on and never afraid to pull a trigger when needed. Him and eye didn't see eye to eye on lots of things , personal ( Pink is a girl color) or moderation ( he hates trainwrecks) but we are grown ass adults and work around that **** and I still value his opinion on forum rules, politics and other things higher then most.

27 - seems to think that doing the opposite of Dids is the right way to mod, I think he forgets what happen with Nick B moderated ( or didnt moderate this place) it went to hell fast. He's getting there and think he provides a really good balance and perceptive into the posters in OOT who are more "trollish" , where i would say "ban them hard" he would say "that dudes hilarious"

Alobar - he dealt with BBV, hes got a strong arm mentality having to deal with those ******s and I find his modding spot on , hes limited on time but else hes damn near batting a thousand ( Infract or ban more ppls threads you lock)


jmakin - fwiw I had asked jmakin about modding and here is why , for one hes hated in SE that right there likely means hes perfect here. 2 I think he has the ability to back off posting ******ation and do whats needed to keep the forum rolling, which is good on both accounts. The reason hes not is he is polarizing ala Dids and he's had some run ins with mods , generally we go through a vetting process in the mod forum before we add people. I say generally cause I , generally dont give a **** for there opinions and just add people I think are good for the forum. But in Jmakins case I sort of had to.

Modding isn't about being a good poster, ffs I don't think I am a good poster, I barley post anything of value cept some quips, jpg's or "facts" regarding a topic. I never was, nor will be an epic poster , but I do know what I like and it seems to fall in line with what most of you like that is something I can at least "manage" to. So its that reason i think I make a good mod. Sometimes epic posters don't make epic mods..(samjones) , it actually hurts them or burns them out ( LFS) ...

Anyway those are my thoughts on modding here in OOT
