Obviously the governments here don't really know what happened to this plane. They can find fishing gear cast afloat but can't find any evidence of a crashed jet debris field? They're just guessing.

has anybody been following this story - a passanger, IBM engineer Phillip Wood, sent out a text and a pic stating that the plane was hijacked and he is being held in a prison... (i guess anythings "possible"). I googled it and it's all over the internet.

The interesting part of the story, apart from Malaysian being confirmed hopeless again, is that previously they said it was the co-pilot who spoke the final words. Now they say "forensic investigations" are still being conducted on which pilot it is. Probably doesn't really matter for any theory of what happened.

Lol at that conspiratard post. The best bit is the insistence that only an NSA level hacker could alter exif data. I am a programmer and it would be about 5 minutes work for me. There are libraries available in multiple languages for manipulating exif metadata.

I too would be unwilling to believe that people believe that but I decided to take a look at the forum mentioned in ShaneG's other posts. These people are legitimately insane. I've lost count the amount of times that people on here have tried to label me as insane, It's pathetic really, and clearly a reflection of their own fragile sanity. You dont see me calling anyone crazy, because I'm not that insecure.
